St. Conforti Parish is situated at the outskirts of Makeni, near the road that leads to Freetown. The church’s building is big, luminous and built in a huge compound surrounded by a fence with cement blocks. The compound is utilized for sport activities three days a week by youth of different ages, ethnic groups and religion have access to this place. There are five football fields of different size, one volleyball and basketball courts.

Every day at 6:30am the Holy Mass is celebrated, while in the evening a group of parishioners gather at 5:45 pm to pray the rosary. On Sunday we celebrate two masses in the church at Makeni and also in the outstations.

During the year we carry out different activities:

  • Preparation of catechumens during weekends
  • Prayer meetings in each of the five zones, in which the parish is divided, led by their respective prayer leader.
  • Formation meetings for the parishioners: children, youth and adults.

The priests in charge of the Parish are: Fr. Jerome Pistoni, s.x. from Italy and Fr. Patrick Satianez, s.x. from the Philippines.
