The Regional House (Domus) is a place of encounter, of sharing and celebration. There are 7 members of this community. Fr. Luiz Perez (Rector of the House) from Spain; Fr. Carlo Di Sopra (Regional Superior) from Italy; Fr. Natale Paganelli (Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Makeni); Fr. Michele Carlini (Regional Bursar) from Italy; Fr. Louis Birabaluge from Congo, Fr. Jerome Pistoni (Parish Priest of St. Conforti Parish) from Italy and Fr. Patrick Santianez (Asst. Parish Priest of St. Conforti Parish) from the Philippines.
Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish is located in Mongo Bendugu Town, Koinadugu District, Northern Province. This Parish was an out-station under Holy Martyrs of Uganda Parish-Kabala. It was established on 22nd of February 2011. We work mainly among the ethnic group of Kuranko, who are traditionally Muslims, they migrated from the nearby borders of Guinea during the last century. As a small flock, we work for evangelization by organizing pastoral activities, with greater attention to faith formation of the members, catechumens and new communities in the outstations. We also are engaged in the field of education as Managers of Catholic Schools. Presently the members of the community are two: Fr. Sudarmanto, s.x.rom Indonesia and Bro. Bruno Menici, s.x. from Italy.
Kissy-dockyard, Freetown community is the Formation House for Sierra Leonean Youth. Presently there are four Fathers and two seminarians. We are also doing pastoral ministry in some communities on Sundays. Fr. Vincent Munari, s.x. is in-charge of St. Francis Xavier(Sayno) Community. Fr. Piero Lazzarini, s.x. is serving St. Charles Lwanga (Allentown) both communities are under St. Peter the Rock- Calaba Town Parish. Fr. Paulin Tutu, s.x. is helping the community of St. Edward Rokel and Fr. Marsel Rantetaruk, s.x. the community of St. Peter the Fisherman in Tombo. Both communities are under the Immaculate Conception Parish, Waterloo.
St. Conforti Parish is situated at the outskirts of Makeni, near the road that leads to Freetown. The church’s building is big, luminous and built in a huge compound surrounded by a fence with cement blocks. The compound is utilized for sport activities three days a week by youth of different ages, ethnic groups and religion have access to this place. There are five football fields of different size, one volleyball and basketball courts.
Sts. Peter and Paul’s parish is located in the North of Sierra Leone at Fadugu, Koinadugu District. It was founded in 2007 by Fr. Tony Senno, s.x. After 8 years there are two fathers: Fr. George Jimenez, s.x. from Mexico (Parish Priest) and Fr. Luigi Brioni, s.x from Italy (Asst. parish Priest).
We are the team of confreres working in Holy Martyrs of Uganda Parish-Kabala. Fr. Victor Bongiovanni, s.x. (Italian-Parish Priest), Fr. Jose Luis Vega, s.x. (Mexican- Asst. Parish Priest) and Fr. Joeven Matugas, s.x. (Filipino-Parish Ministry).
