We are the team of confreres working in Holy Martyrs of Uganda Parish-Kabala. Fr. Victor Bongiovanni, s.x. (Italian-Parish Priest), Fr. Jose Luis Vega, s.x. (Mexican- Asst. Parish Priest) and Fr. Joeven Matugas, s.x. (Filipino-Parish Ministry).
We are engaged in the parish activities and activities at the same time we take care of some Primary Schools and a few Secondary schools. This Parish covers six chiefdoms situated in the district of Koinadugu, North-east of Sierra Leone. There are about 16 established Outstations and around 9 small outstations. We have an average of 500-600 churchgoers every Sunday Mass. This is the oldest parish served by the Xaverians, since 1950.
Fr. Victor Bongiovanni, s.x. participates at the meetings and activities of the Council of Pastors in Kabla (which comprises various churches and denominations) and as well being involved in the civic affairs of the town and the district as a whole, especially in this time of Ebola outbreak.
