The On-Going Formation for the Young Xaverians working in the Circumscriptions of Africa was held on the 1st to 15th of August 2021 in the Theophile Verbest Centre (CICM), Mbudi, Kinshasa, D.R. of Congo.
This program was organized by the General Direction through the Councilor in charge for On-Going Formation Fr. Fabien Kalehezo Tchiribuka.
There are 6 circumscriptions in the Continent of Africa. D.R. Congo, Cameroon-Tchad, Burundi, Mozambique, Sierra Leone.
They were 4 young confreres in Sierra Leone who participated this Formation meeting. Fr. Martin Alekeke Ndemsou (Chadian), Fr. Guy - Adolphe Khasa Myumve (Congolese), Fr. Joeven Matugas (Filipino), Fr. Alexander Roman Garcia (Columbian).
This meeting were only for the young Xaverians who are in 3 years to 8 years of Perpetually Professed.
There were 7 nationalities - Congolese, Cameroonian, Burundian, Chadian, Indonesian, Brazilian, Filipino.
Participants according to Circumscriptions : Congo - 7, Cameroon- Chad - 4, Burundi - 4, Mozambique - 3, Sierra Leone - 4
The meeting was a great moment of sharing our mission and pastoral experiences, get together and friendship. A moment of personal reflections, recollection, listening, participation and celebration.
